Today, even though we did not go on a field trip, we as a class got to learn about the importance of water, and the water treatment field. We were visited by the The City of Dayton Water Plant, Environmental Protection, CCTV Crew, River Mobile, and had a short presentation on the importance of water based careers.
Throughout the day we were able to learn all the different career paths in the STEM hydroponics fields. Including what people do in those types of jobs along with what types of materials are made and used in events that occur within those occupations.

By learning how important water is in our lives along with the important river sand bodies of water that flow around us, we were able to understand how to protect our environment as well as creating a safe healthy future for all of us here in Dayton.
" This is the river, long and flowing.
These are the fish, colorful and scaly.
This is the sand, wet and grainy.
This is the creek, tumbling and calming.
These are the roads, guiding and long.
These are the hills, green and rolling.
These are the rocks, hard and rough.
This is the mountain, bold and unmoving.
This is the rain, refreshing and tranquil."
